Integrated logistics solutions provider Aegis Logistics has reported a marginal improvement in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 151.88 crore.
The company had reported a PAT of Rs 150.02 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Its revenue during the July-September period, however, increased to Rs 1,750.42 crore from Rs 1,234.86 crore reported in Q2 FY2024, registering a jump of 41.74 per cent.
The company’s total expenses for the period under review rose significantly to Rs 1,593.86 crore as compared to Rs 1,087.25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
In its investor presentation, the company said that Aegis recorded the highest ever revenues on the back of new capacity addition from acquisitions and increase in volumes. Even the gad division recorded highest logistics volumes that contributed to the growth of revenues.
