EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries, has announced the deployment of its EKA 9 electric buses in collaboration with Skyline Motors (India) in Uttarakhand.
The e-buses have been deployed on the Dehradun-Rishikesh route via Haridwar, covering a daily distance of 300 kilometers, supporting Uttarakhand’s green transportation goals by offering efficient, eco-friendly commuting options while reducing carbon emissions.
The EKA 9 electric buses are designed to provide a sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective public transit solution for intercity travelers. These buses, which feature cutting-edge technology, operate between the three key cities, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey for passengers.
Each bus is equipped with a 200 kW battery, providing the necessary power to cover long distances while keeping energy consumption low.

The 9-meter AC buses have a seating capacity of 35+1, a floor height of 900 mm, and are equipped with advanced safety features designed to enhance the passenger experience. The daily operations on the Dehradun-Rishikesh-Haridwar route demonstrate a commitment to providing clean, energy-efficient transport options that also enhance connectivity in the region.
